About Monika Marcovici, founder of greenworx

In 2006, after a long career in the corporate world, Monika decided to combine her technical background as a Systems Design Engineer with her life-long passion for the environment. She worked as a sustainability consultant and researcher working with large organisations such as Park Royal' Shopping Center, the Canadian Tourism Commission's, and Metro Vancouver. While recognizing the enormous impact that large companies are making as they move towards sustainability, she believes that to reach a global tipping point, a critical mass of businesses need to get on board with sustainable practices.
